Description
Starward Stout Cask Single Malt Australian Whiskey is a 5 year old Southern Hemisphere single malt bottled at 52% ABV in a 700ml format. It is matured in ex-stout barrels, a non-traditional cask choice that shapes the whiskey’s direction from the first pour.
Time in stout wood brings rich chocolate and coffee characteristics alongside more traditional whiskey notes. The palate carries roasted grain and dark fruit complexity, with the cask interaction giving the spirit a bold, layered character.
This expression reflects Australian whiskey craftsmanship and an experimental approach to maturation.
