Built on a four-grain mash bill, Smithville Texas Four Grain Straight Bourbon Whiskey takes a less common route to bourbon complexity. Bottled at 47% ABV in a 750 ml format, it leans on the interplay between its grains rather than a single dominant note. The pour opens with corn sweetness before grain spice moves in, followed by caramel and oak and a faint touch of pepper on the close. It’s a balanced straight bourbon shaped by Texas distilling practice and the standards behind it.
