Slow & Low Coffee Old Fashioned takes cues from New Orleans and its classic Cafe Brulot, building a bottled cocktail around straight rye whiskey. Intelligentsia Coffee joins raw honey, demerara sugar, Angostura bitters and fresh orange peel in the 750 ml bottle, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
The build stays deliberately extra-dry: a 2 oz pour carries about the sweetness of a single sugar cube. Flavors are balanced and the texture smooth, with subtle details that speak to the way it’s made — a sipper aimed at people who follow both coffee and cocktails.
