Named for the seal-folk of Irish legend, The Midnight Silkie is a single pot still whiskey made on Ireland’s northwest coast in Donegal. Bottled at 46% ABV in a 750 ml format, it carries the maritime influence of its surroundings alongside the fuller texture that traditional pot still distillation provides.
The palate leans on spiced honey and orchard fruit, with oak-led vanilla and a gentle warmth of spice carrying through a creamy mouthfeel. The higher strength and considered maturation hold that profile together, whether the whiskey is poured neat or built into familiar Irish whiskey cocktails.
