Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, Scoresby Very Rare is built from a selection of malt and grain whiskies brought together into one balanced blend. The malt side lends a soft sweetness while the grain component smooths out the texture. On the palate there are honey notes backed by subtle oak, closing with a gentle finish. The “Very Rare” name points to the composition of the blend itself, put together for drinkers who pay attention to balance in a Scotch.
