The 2020 Brut Nature Le Mont des Chrétiens is a deep, powerful wine. Lemon confit, white pepper, mint, sage and marzipan are all beautifully amplified. This potent, resonant Champagne packs quite the punch. As with many 2020s, there’s a slightly vegetal character, but the wine has enough weight and overall fruit intensity to balance that out to some degree. Aging on cork likely helps with texture.
