Sato Shiki Single Grain Whisky 41 Year is a Japanese whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format. Four decades of maturation give the spirit a deep complexity and a notably smooth texture.
As a single grain whisky, it puts the interaction between grain and wood front and centre, with no other component to shade it. The long rest in cask shapes every part of the profile.
Tasting notes: honey, wood spice and dried fruit, with subtle oak and an elegant finish. One for collectors of long-aged Japanese whisky.
