Description
Pale gold in the glass, Santa Teresa Claro Ron A\u00f1ejo is built from rums matured a minimum of two years in American oak barrels. The blend skips carbon filtration, a choice that keeps the character picked up during aging intact and makes the rum a dependable base for mixed drinks.
The nose leads with a warm sugar note alongside apple, banana and pineapple, backed by a faint touch of wood. Fruit and oak carry through on the palate with sweet sugar cane running underneath. Light in style but persistent in body, it closes sweet, with a suggestion of green aromatic fruit. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 1 L bottle.
