Description
Ten years in oak give this Douro Valley fortified wine its amber cast and layered profile. Sandeman Tawny Port 10 Year pours at 20% ABV, with dried fruits, caramel and toffee up front and hazelnut running underneath, all framed by smooth oak influence and a subtle warmth through the finish.
The extended barrel time softens the wine’s edges, so the richness reads as approachable rather than heavy. It works poured on its own as an aperitif or dessert wine, and pairs easily with fine cheeses and chocolate. Bottled at 750 ml.
