Dark berries lead the way in this 2021 Shiraz from Saldo Prisoner Wine Company, an Australian red built on ripe, concentrated fruit. Cracked pepper and a note of leather sit alongside the berry core, giving the wine spice and savory depth at 15% ABV. The palate is full-bodied with firm structure that carries through the finish. Substantial enough to stand up to hearty dishes, it also holds interest poured on its own. Presented in a 750 ml bottle.
