Description
Roots Mastic Chios Vintage Strength is a Greek mastic spirit bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format. Mastic comes from the resin of Pistacia lentiscus, a tree found on the island of Chios, and it gives this spirit its distinctive anise-like flavor and herbal complexity.
The aroma and palate center on mastic resin and anise, backed by herbal earth, a slight pine note and warming spice.
A spirit rooted in Greek tradition and island heritage, with character suited to sipping or to traditional Mediterranean cocktails.
