Distilled in Martinique from fresh sugarcane juice, Rhum JM VO Aged Rum carries the VO (Very Old) designation, indicating extended time in oak. The result pairs the grassy, cane-forward signature of rhum agricole with the rounder notes that come from barrel maturation: vanilla, warm spice and a smooth finish.
Bottled at 43% ABV in a 700 ml format, this French Caribbean rhum holds its structure while staying approachable. The added maturity gives it enough depth to drink neat, and enough character to hold up in more considered rum cocktails.
