Description
Bottled unaged at 48.5% ABV, Rey Campero Mexicano Joven is an artesanal mezcal made in the traditional Mexican style, with 750 ml of spirit shaped by hand-guided roasting and distillation. Because it goes straight from still to bottle, the agave character comes through undiluted by time in wood.
The palate moves between smoky roasted agave and herbal, earthy depth, lifted by citrus brightness and closing with a peppery bite. That layered profile works as well poured neat as it does at the center of a mezcal cocktail.
