Rye takes the lead in this bourbon’s mashbill, giving the whiskey a sharper, spicier character than standard bourbon recipes produce. Bottled at 46% ABV in a 750 ml format, it carries the depth that comes from time spent in barrel. Expect spice up front, followed by caramel sweetness and vanilla drawn from the oak, closing on a peppery note. It holds up on its own poured neat and has enough backbone to stand out in cocktails.
