Rare Character The Exceptional Topflight Series – Charred Oak 2011

Bottled at 51.35% ABV, the Charred Oak release in Rare Character’s Exceptional Topflight Series puts barrel influence front and center. The 2011 vintage marks the year tied to its production or bottling, giving collectors a clear point of reference for the whiskey inside the 750 ml bottle. Deep char levels and deliberate cask selection shape the pour, drawing out charred oak and wood alongside caramel, vanilla, butterscotch and a run of spice. The result is a bourbon built around pronounced oak character and layered complexity.
