Description
An elusive whiff of the exotic appears and disappears on the white and yellow peach scented aromas that are nuanced by wisps of rosemary oil, resin and citrus confit. The sleek, detailed and vibrant medium weight flavors possess fine density before concluding in an atypical finish that is at once slightly sweet and warm. Historically this has been one of the domaine’s best 1ers, but I don’t find it to be so in 2018 though I underscore that it is perfectly good, just not truly distinguished.
