Description
Pluma Negra Tepeztate is a mezcal made from wild Tepeztate agave, bottled at 52% ABV in a 750 ml format. Tepeztate is a rare, slow-growing agave, and the variety brings its own set of mineral and herbal characteristics to the glass.
The aroma and palate lean mineral, with smoky undertones running underneath and layers of herbal complexity. The finish is earthy, and the high proof carries the full weight of the spirit’s character.
Production follows traditional Mexican mezcal-making methods, with the agave itself treated as the center of the expression.
