The malt bill offers light golden hues and a gentle bready backbone. There’s a touch of honey there too. Freestyle hops out of the Moutere Valley in NZ pile on the character, so does the Amplifire oil.
There’s lovely pine and blackcurrant aromas; all settling into a malt biscuit bed. The mouthfeel is enhanced by a sturdy mid-palate bitterness, which is both welcome and bang on for the style.
