Description
(from two identically sized parcels of .25 ha in Le Charlemagne and En Charlemagne). Cooler and more restrained aromas of Granny Smith, lemongrass, crushed fennel, white flower and a suggestion of oak. The rich, concentrated and impressively scaled big-bodied flavors flash both evident minerality and power on the sappy, balanced and beautifully persistent finale. This is built-to-age and a CC that’s going to need it. Excellent potential here.
