J.A.B. 2022 is a natural wine crafted by , in the Jura region in . This red wine is made with grapes amongst a small portion of mixed white grapes and is one of the entry level wines to the world of Philippe Chatillon, a master of his craft having been the head winemaker of Domaine de la Pinte for 20 years, before wanting to make his own wines without the use of sulphites.

Production details of J.A.B.: J.A.B. is Philippe Chatillon’s entry-level red from the Jura, blending Pinot Noir with a small portion of mixed white grapes. Philippe spent nearly two decades as head winemaker at Domaine de la Pinte before starting his own project in 2013 so he could work without added sulphites. In the cellar he also uses soundwaves (a crystal harp and singing bowls) to balance the wines. The wine sits at 12% alcohol.
Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of J.A.B. by Philippe Chatillon, but we hear it has notes of earthen cherry, redcurrant, fine mineral structure and a light, drinkable feel.
