Description
Distilled from tobasiche agave, this Perro Verde bottling puts an uncommon maguey variety front and center. The result is a mezcal with its own clear personality, layering wood smoke and wet stone against the natural sweetness of cooked agave.
Earthy depth and a run of complex spice fill out the mid-palate, giving a sense of where the plant grew and how it was worked. Bottled at 42% ABV in a 375 ml format, it suits drinkers who want to taste how a single agave variety shapes traditional production.
