Description
Penelope Toasted Marshmallow Bourbon Barrel Strength is a limited-edition, cask-strength bourbon from Penelope’s Toasted Series, aged 4 years and finished with a Char 3 heavy toast for deep caramelization. Uncut and non-chill filtered, it’s bottled at 110 proof (55% ABV).
Sweet, Confectionery Flavors Over Oak and Spice
Where most toasted-barrel bourbons lean on oak and spice, Toasted Marshmallow leans into sweet, confectionery character instead, built on a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley.
Tasting Notes
- Aroma: sweet caramel syrup with hints of candied sweetness and maple.
- Palate: layers of caramel syrup, vanilla, and toasted marshmallow, accented by butterscotch and subtle spice.
- Finish: fire-kissed marshmallow, butterscotch, and a lingering warm spice.
How to Enjoy It
Sip it neat or with a few drops of water to unlock its depth, or use it as the base for a bourbon-forward cocktail like a smoked Old Fashioned.
