Description
Penelope Omega is an 11-year straight bourbon whiskey finished in rare, tight-grain French Oak barrels selected with OakScan® technology and specially toasted for seamless integration. It is made in small batches from a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% barley malt.
Bottled at 109.8 proof (54.9% ABV), it opens with warm vanilla, honey, toffee, and allspice. The palate moves through brown sugar, dark fruit, leather, and cocoa, and the finish lingers with sweet spice, cinnamon gum, and buttery-sweet nougat.
