Where Penelope’s standard Barrel Strength is typically aged 4 to 6 years, this limited release extends that to a full 7 years, blending three different bourbon mash bills into a 4-grain recipe of 70% corn, 23% rye, 5% malted barley, and 2% malted rye. The extra maturation in hand-selected new American oak barrels deepens the caramel and barrel char notes beyond Penelope’s standard barrel strength profile.
