Description
Pendleton 1910 is the first bourbon from Pendleton Whisky. Its name honors 1910, the first year of the Pendleton Round-Up rodeo. The tooled bottle nods to a prize rodeo saddle.
This straight bourbon blends high-rye and low-rye bourbons. It ages for ten years in white American oak barrels with a #3 char. Glacier-fed spring water from Mt. Hood brings it to 90 proof.
It pours a golden amber. Maple and toasted oak lead the nose. The palate brings caramel, vanilla and rye spice. That rye spice lingers on the finish.
Enjoy it neat or in a Manhattan, with barbecue or pecan pie.
