Bottled at 53.8% ABV, Peerless Kentucky Straight Rye is a single-barrel release, meaning each bottle carries the particular character of the cask it came from. The distillery uses a sweet mash method, starting every batch with fresh water and fresh grain rather than recycling spent mash, and the whiskey goes into the bottle without chill filtration.
What’s left is a rye with a balanced profile, a smooth texture and subtle notes that speak to the care taken in its making. This 750 ml bottle reflects an approach built on careful barrel selection and hands-on production.
