The Blanc 2022-23 is a complex, elegant natural wine crafted by Justine Loiseau and , of Domaine la Boheme in the Auvergne region in .
This white wine is made with 100% grapes of domaine fruit. The Blanc is one of the wines closest to Justine & Patrick’s heart, consisting of Auvergne Chardonnay grown on volcanic Basalt soils that gives it a real edge.
One of the reasons it is a rarity, as he explains in our video documentary you can watch on our Youtube, is this wine is very difficult to vinify, and does not work all the time (when so, they make a Gentile distillate instead).
This beautiful white wine has got a elevage of 12 months in barrel, which really gives it some complexity and roundness, however, it is equally lean & vibrant with a fantastic acidity and freshness! Seriously impressive!
‘The Blanc 2022-23’ is seriously FULL OF ENERGY! An absolute banger and in our opinion one of the best wines from Domaine la Bohème. We highly recommend it, and if the budget allows, get one for now and one to age – it will only become more impressive over time and can age well!
