Description
Years in the barrel shape this Extra Añejo from Padre Azul, giving the tequila a deep amber color and a layered character that reaches well past the agave’s raw edge. The long maturation brings out oak, vanilla and a quiet thread of spice, while the texture stays soft and even from first sip through the finish.
On the palate, cooked agave leads, followed by citrus brightness, rounded vanilla and a hint of pepper heat that lingers briefly. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, it drinks smoothly on its own or holds its shape in a well-made cocktail.
