Orphan Barrel Latverian Cask is a 20 year old American light whiskey released with Marvel Studios for Avengers: Doomsday. Bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV) by Orphan Barrel Spirits Co. in Bardstown, Kentucky, it joins the Orphan Barrel series, a line built on rare, long-forgotten barrels found in American rickhouses.
Two decades in oak give this light whiskey a deep amber color and a soft, rounded profile: vanilla and toasted oak on the nose, orange peel, honeyed grain and light caramel on the palate, and a long finish of warm oak, baking spice and a gentle lingering sweetness.
The label draws on Doctor Doom’s Latveria, with the green stained glass of Doomstadt Castle framing the design and an Avengers: Doomsday neck tag.
