Description
Bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) in a 750 ml bottle, Old Overholt Bottled in Bond Straight Rye Whiskey is made to the strict standards that the bottled-in-bond designation requires. The higher proof carries the whiskey’s flavor straight through the palate.
The profile runs along traditional American rye lines: rye spice up front, oak and caramel filling in behind it, and a peppery heat that leads to a classic finish. It suits drinkers who favor rye on its own terms and those who build classic cocktails.
