Description
Eight years in oak shape this Kentucky straight bourbon from Old Louisville Whiskey Co’s The Kentucky Series, bottled at 50% ABV in a 750 ml format. The time in barrel brings forward caramel and vanilla alongside a steady oak backbone, with the sweetness that defines the category holding everything together.
The combination of longer maturation and higher proof gives the whiskey layers worth working through, whether sipped by bourbon drinkers paying attention to detail or built into premium cocktails.
