Description
Bottled at 52% ABV, Old Hillside Straight Rye Purple Heart Tribute is a commemorative release built around six years of barrel time. Those years in wood draw out the concentrated side of rye, and the full-proof bottling keeps that intensity intact rather than diluting it.
Expect rye spice and black pepper up front, with oak tannins and caramel filling in behind them. The finish arrives with real force, making this a 750 ml pour aimed at drinkers who want strength and flavor without restraint.
