Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV), Old Grand Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon pours a familiar Kentucky profile into a 750 ml bottle. Caramel and vanilla lead the way, followed by oak and a subtle touch of spice, all carried by a smooth, even character. The moderate proof keeps things approachable, so the whiskey works just as well for someone new to bourbon as it does for a longtime drinker. Its balance also gives it flexibility: pour it neat or build it into cocktails.
