Description
Old Forester 1924 Straight Bourbon Whisky stands as a tribute to an extraordinary chapter in the brand’s history. As the fifth release in the esteemed Whiskey Row Series, it unveils a novel mash bill, deviating from the traditional Old Forester recipe to offer enthusiasts a distinctive tasting experience. This edition pays homage to a pivotal moment during Prohibition when Old Forester persevered, securing a special permit to continue producing whiskey for medicinal purposes. In 1924, the brand acquired barrels from shuttered distilleries, blending various mash bills to craft the iconic Old Forester liquid we celebrate today. This exceptional release celebrates a century of innovation, marking Old Forester’s resilience as the sole bourbon brand to endure the challenges of Prohibition and thrive thereafter.
