Description
French Oak barrels, the same tight-grained wood used to age fine wines, give this Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey its particular shape. The closer grain releases its flavor slowly, lending the whiskey a silky texture and understated wood character.
The nose opens with vanilla alongside apricot, cherry and rose petal. On the palate it turns thick and creamy, all maple syrup with the oak pushing through, and the finish runs long on chocolate and toasted oak. Made with Mash Bill #1 and bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV) in a 750 ml bottle, it’s suited to drinking neat.
