Description
Old Carter Straight Rye Whisky Batch 5 is bottled at 57.75% ABV in a 750 ml format. It is an unfiltered, cask strength release, poured at full barrel proof without dilution.
The whisky shows intense rye character and bold spirit complexity. Aromas and flavors run through rye spice, oak depth and black pepper, with vanilla sweetness, warm alcohol and a lingering finish.
Batch designation is part of the format here: each numbered release reflects its own sourcing and barrel selection, so collectors can compare the variations from one batch to the next.
