Description
Oban Distiller’s Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof) in a 750 ml bottle. After its first maturation, the whisky is given a second maturation in Montilla Fino cask wood, a Spanish influence shaped by the importers and entrepreneurs behind the distillery’s founding.
The nose and palate carry soft malt with delicate yet rich fruit, alongside hints of sea salt and white pepper. The body is full and rich, closing on sweetened Jamaican coffee and oak.
Highland character and coastal influence meet here, drawn from centuries of local distilling tradition. It is best served neat or with a splash of cool spring water, and pairs with cheesecake or rich chocolate.
