Bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml format, the Air Edition is Oakpacker’s take on American single malt whiskey. The category has grown apart from Scotch traditions, built instead around domestic malted grain and a willingness to experiment at the still.
The Air Edition name points to a particular approach in production or maturation, giving this release its own profile within the single malt family. Malt sweetness leads, framed by oak influence, a thread of subtle smoke and clear grain notes.
