Description
Nuestra Santiago Mezcal is a true embodiment of the rich traditions and artistry that define Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, as the heart of mezcal production. This mezcal pays homage to the heritage of this rural town, where the Cortés family harvests Espadín agave with care and reverence. Nestled at an elevation of 5,500-5,900 feet in a picturesque mountain canyon, this mezcal is crafted amid stunning vistas and nurtured alongside wild outcrops of Tepeztate, Tobalá, and Coyote agaves. Mezcalero Gregorio Martinez Jarquín, a seasoned artisan with deep roots in Santiago Matatlán, leads the production of Nuestra Santiago Mezcal. With every sip, you’ll experience the essence of this mezcal’s birthplace, where tradition, passion, and nature converge to create a distinctive and memorable spirit.
