Description
New Riff Kentucky Wild Gin Bourbon Barreled is gin with a bourbon twist. It is made in Newport, Kentucky, then rested five to seven months in fresh New Riff bourbon barrels.
Its 12 botanicals include wild Kentucky juniper, spicebush, goldenrod and angelica. A splash of rye new make adds body. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 94 proof.
Spicebush and vanilla oak lead the nose, with juniper. The palate is dry, with oak tannin and orange peel. The finish stays dry and zesty.
It won Double Gold at the 2024 John Barleycorn Awards. Sip it neat, on ice, or in an Old Fashioned.
