Description
The Sequel Nobody Saw Coming — and Everyone Wanted
New Louisville Distillery brings back the heat with barrel B1315 — ‘Hollywood Honey Returns.’ The follow-up to a fan-favorite single barrel, this 9 year old Hazmat bourbon clocks in at a scorching 141 proof, crossing into true hazmat territory. Sweet, powerful, and dripping with character, this is a barrel that commands the room the moment it’s opened.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: An intoxicating wave of wildflower honey, toasted vanilla, ripe banana, and warm caramel — deceptively sweet for a bourbon of this proof.
- Palate: Explosive and layered — raw honey, candied orange peel, dark toffee, and charred oak collide with a bold, warming heat that builds with every sip.
- Finish: Extraordinarily long, with lingering honeycomb, baking spice, and a slow-burning oak char that refuses to quit.
