Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml format, Negro Mate Mezcal Espadín is made entirely from Espadín agave using traditional methods. The result is an artisanal mezcal built around the smoke and agave character that defines the category. The palate moves through wood smoke, roasted agave and earth, with citrus lifting the middle and a peppery note closing things out. It’s a straightforward expression of Mexican spirit-making, with the agave left clearly in view.
