Imperial Brut is the signature cuvee of Moet & Chandon, drawing Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay together into a single blend. The result is bright and fruit-forward, with a generous palate and an elegant, mature character that defines the house style. At 12% ABV in a 375 ml bottle, it shows a balanced profile and smooth texture with subtle notes that speak to the winemaking behind it.
The name Imperial dates to 1869, chosen in tribute to Emperor Napoleon I, a prestigious customer of the House who admired the pioneering approach of the Moet family. That name has stayed with the blend ever since.
