Description
Cupreata agave takes the lead in this 2023 expression from Mocel Mezcal Artesanal, distilled at 48% ABV and bottled at 750 ml. Traditional artisanal methods shape a spirit that leans on herbal complexity, with smoke kept subtle rather than dominant.
Mineral and earthy notes run underneath, reflecting the variety itself. The release is part of the producer’s ongoing work with agave diversity, looking past conventional mezcal categories toward what individual agaves can express on their own terms.
