Golden Eight from Massenez builds on a pear distillate drawn from ripe Williams pears, bottled at 25% ABV in a 750 ml format. Its golden hue comes from the producer’s blending work, while the nose and palate stay close to the fruit: fresh pear up front, a layer of honey, and a subtle citrus lift that keeps the sweetness light.
Traditional fruit distillation gives the spirit a delicate, clearly defined pear character, and the moderate alcohol keeps it easy to place. It works as an aperitif, alongside dessert, or as the fruit-driven component in modern cocktails.
