Production details of Cuvee Alanna Pinot Noir: Cuvee Alanna Pinot Noir is made by Martin Wörner and his partner Alanna Lagamba at Marto Wines in Rheinhessen, Germany. Martin trained with Matassa and Gut Oggau before bringing his fresh approach back to the family winery. This is a special cuvée by Alanna using Pinot Noir picked from a second flowering late in the season, added to earlier harvested fruit for added concentration and complexity. Ages longer than usual in foudre. 12% alcohol, zero added sulphur.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Cuvee Alanna Pinot Noir by Marto Wines, but we hear it has notes of vibrant red fruit, juicy berry and a complex acidic lift.
