Al Dente 2019 (Back Vintage Special) is a natural wine crafted by , in the Rheinhessen region in . This red wine is made with , and grapes.
This specific batch is the last surviving cases which have been aged at the Marto winery until being sent to us in November 2025. What is interesting about drinking it now, is before it was all about freshness and some funk. Now, it has allowed time to evolve it and it has matured, with almost balsamic touches dancing inbetween bursts of prunes and wild herbs, some blackberry compote and hints of liquorice. Very cool to drink now and something rather special!
