A reposado tequila bottled at 40% ABV, Margaritaville Gold pours with a rich, layered flavor that stays easy to drink. The nose leans fruity and woody at once, with pear, apple and prune coming through alongside a fresh green grass character. On the palate, that same fruit carries into a finish marked by a slight nod of black pepper. The 750 ml bottle makes a straightforward addition to a home bar, working just as well mixed into margaritas as it does poured neat.
