Description
From the Volnay appellation in Burgundy, this 2019 Pinot Noir from Maison Louis Latour is built on finesse rather than weight. Red cherry and rose petal lead the aromatics, with forest floor notes underneath, and the limestone-rich soils of the region show through in the wine’s refined fruit and silky tannins. The 750 ml bottle is 13.5% ABV.
The finish stays elegant and measured, in keeping with the classic Burgundian approach behind it. It pairs readily with food and has the structure to gain complexity with time in the cellar.
