Description
Macallan’s Phoenix Honey Orchid draws inspiration from JING’s celebrated tea, translating its complex character into single malt form. Predominantly aged in sherry-seasoned American oak, this expression captures lush dessert wine aromas and exotic fruit notes. European oak casks contribute roasted depth and subtle astringency, while bourbon cask finishing adds a refined sweetness that echoes the tea’s sophisticated profile. The result is a beautifully layered whisky where floral and fruity elements harmonize with rich, warming spice—a masterful interpretation of tea-inspired complexity in spirit form.
